  1. The Anam Cara Parent Evenings afford bereaved parents a safe and comfortable place where they have an opportunity to meet with other bereaved parents. The Parent Evenings take place monthly in nine locations around the country. To inquire about your nearest Anam Cara group, call our Information Line on 085 2888 888.

  2. Anam Cara’s Bereavement Information Evenings take place in twelve locations across the country in September/October 2016 (and in February/March 2017). These events give bereaved mothers and fathers an opportunity to hear a Bereavement Specialist talk about the journey through grief and loss after the death of a precious child. There is also an opportunity after each talk to speak to other bereaved parents.

  3. Anam Cara has recently produced some new resources for newly bereaved parents and is currently working hard to distribute these. We have videos and information booklets developed by bereaved parents themselves on themes such as “A Mother’s Grief”, “A Dad’s Grief”, “Coping with Sudden Death” and “The Grieving Family”. See anamcara.ie/videos or contact us to order a free copy of our Bereavement Information Pack.
