MRCI is a national organisation promoting justice, empowerment and equality for migrant workers and their families in Ireland. For the past fourteen years the MRCI has taken a stand with migrant workers and their families to tackle the root causes of inequality. Using a unique community work approach with the focus on participation, leadership and empowerment, MRCI achieved fantastic policy changes such as atypical work permit for fishermen, criminalising forced labour, reversal of work permit changes, protections for domestic workers to name a few.  MRCI operates a Drop in Centre  through which over 2000 people per year receive information, assistance and advocacy on a broad range of issues.
