In my final year in UCD, I have decided to take the plunge and join the UCDVO charity. A student administered charity, I am part of the 20 strong team heading to Nicaragua for 5 week in 2017. The Nicaraguan project has been running for over 13 years, with tangiable develpments including an agricultural research centre and womens shelter buitl in that perios. This year we will be continuing on the building work of a school project and teaching local students at the same time. 100% of the money raised here will be spent on the project. Funds are needed to purchase school books and building materials.
