Hello all! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page :) So, on Saturday 13th May 2017 I will be dancing my socks off in the Salsa to raise much needed funds for the wonderful charity - Gorta Self Help for Africa. I will be taking part in a live Strictly come Dancing show in Stilorgan in the hope to take home the trophy but above all else to have a ball whilst raising money. Any donation at all would be very much so appreciated. I am aware that I have set myself a big target but sure who doesn't love a challenge! Your money will be going towards helping to end the poverty and hunger of African families who are struggling beyond belief in conditions we can't even bare to imagine thinking about.  Gorta's  main objective is to help a household become food secure by smart farming and then crucially assist with access to markets - selling surplus produce will mean an income, which in turn will mean access to education & health care. Gorta are about breaking the cycle of poverty. I have been practising very hard over the last couple of months for this and it's safe to say I am a nervous but excited wreck ahead of the show on Saturday.
