I am taking part in a mustard seed communities volunteer project with a group of 20 students in my school. Mustard seed is a charity organisation that provides mainly for disabled and abandoned children in Jamaica, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Nicaragua and the Dominican republic. The charity has many homes in poverty stricken areas an cares for the most vulnerable members of society who have no where else to go such as HIV positive people and young pregnant women. In April 2020 we wll be travelling to Kingston, Jamaica to stay in Sophie's place where we wll be working with the charity and interacting with the residents. To take part in the programme each person must raise 2,700 euro for the charity and costs. This charity does fantastic work so if you can donate it will really make a difference to the residents who will benefit so greatly from our visit.
