I am in TY in Newbridge Collegeand I signed up for the Children for Children Volunteer Programme.  I am really looking forward to  my upcoming trip to Kingston Jamiaca in May with Mustard Seed Communities.  18 students, 2 teachers and 3 parents including my , mum are going.  I will be staying in Sophies Place, a home for abandoned children with  cerebal palsy and severe disabilities . Over the week we will visit various care homes, for children with HIV/ AIDS, teenage mums, and residential care centres for children and adults with varying physical and cognitive disabilities . We have been fund raising since October, lots of bag packing , we have a hike coming up and a big fashion Show in March . I think it will be a wonderful experience and I look forward to the challenge.
