Hi everyone! This year I am taking part in the UCDVO 2020/21 Volunteering & Global Citizenship Programme. I am participating in the Ferrando Speech and Hearing Centre Project, based in Shillong, Meghalaya, North East India. The project will run virtually in July 2021. The Ferrando Speech and Hearing Centre provides specialist care for the prevention and reduction of the effects of preventable hearing impairment in young children. UCDVO has partnered with the Ferrando Speech and Hearing Centre since 2014.Throughout the coming months, I will be involved in a series of UCDVO Programme Days. These include; development and education workshops, training and team-building activities and project planning meetings.As part of the programme, I must fundraise €750 by 31st May 2021.
