Hiya, some of ye may already know but I was extremely lucky and offered the opportunity to take part in the UCDVO Volunteering and Development Education programme for 2018/19. As part of this programme I will spend 4 weeks in Ruaha, Tanzania. While in Ruaha I will be teaching computer skills to  both teachers and students, in secondary schools which will be newly equipped with computer labs with the help of Camara education. I will also be teaching english to the children as part of their summer camp curriculum and helping to establish a library in the schools. I will be taking part in a year long programme as to ensure I am as prepared as possible for my time overseas. I am hoping to fundraise €1200 which will go directly to the development projects in Tanzania, I will be funding the transport and accomadation costs myself. Any donation would be very much appreicated, no matter how small, as the money is going towards an extremely worthy project, and I will be lucky enough to witness and share the impact the project is having first hand. UCDVO have developed a strong relationship with the communties and schools in Ruaha, and this support is needed to ensure this project will continue to go from strenght to strenght.If you have any questions shoot me an email at [email protected]. Thanks a mill xxHere's a link to some info on the project from the UCDVO website :(http://www.ucdvo.org/projectsoverseas/tanzania/)
