Please read this message from Philip Hollwey, and make a contribution if you can - no donation too small (or large!):  "I gather you’re having a look around the new building, well described by someone as 'finally, the building Newpark deserves!' No doubt it will feel a bit strange as there’s nothing but the memory of ‘your school’ and the old ABCDE and F areas. We’ve worked hard to improve the quality of the outdoor environment, especially in the provision of seats and pleasant outdoor spaces to gather and chat. It’s no longer a matter of sitting along the art room wall on a sunny day! We have an excellent architect on board called Alan Meredith who has designed the ‘zig-zag’ seating at the front of the school and the sculptural trio by the red brick building as well as the long benches in the rear courtyard. We have plans for more and I’m attaching a design for one on the grassy bank by the music centre and the sports pitch. We’d like to commission it but we’re short a €1000 of the €3000 total. The PTA are great supporters but have many calls on slim resources. Could you folk help? We’d happily attach a small brass plaque thanking the class of 1987."
