My Story

Since 2008 I have been working in Zambia striving to improve conditions for the world's poorest and most disdvantaged people. So far, I have been involved in providing housing and clean water supplies, and also setting up a micro finance project for widows seeking to set up small businesses, and more recently we have established a library  which has been shared among many schools, and some computer labs in schools. This year, I am continuing this work in conjuction with supporting Gorta -Self Help Africa's work in the Cheshire Home in Mongu, where the Presentation Sisters look after over 1,200 disabled children in Zambia. All money donated on this page will go straight to that project. For more information about what I do and that project, see www.mnugentzambia.com   Please donate whatever you can afford. It is badly needed. Many thanks. Michael Nugent
