Hi everyone! My name is Brontë Megan Sheerin and this November, I was so lucky to be chosen to be part of the UCD Volunteering Overseas Programme in Haiti. As part of the programme, in a team of ten, I will be spending a month in Haiti, teaching children and local teachers English and IT skills. Each volunteer must raise €2,600 in order to be eligible to participate. I'm planning to raise this money through fundraising events, like bag-packing and a sponsored swim.
