My Story

Mustard Seed Communities is a nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for the most vulnerable members of society, especially disabled and abandoned children, children and adults affected by HIV/AIDS as well as teen mothers and their babies. The charity was originally set up in Kingston, Jamaica in 1978, as a home for a handful of abandoned children with disabilities. Mustard Seed now cares for over 600 abandoned children and adults in Jamaica. In October, 20 students from Dominican College will be travelling to Jamaica as part of the Children For Children Volunteer Programme and I have been lucky enough to be selected as a volunteer for this project.  This week I will be running a marathon (42km) over 7 days. All money that is raised will go towards this project and I would be grateful for any support that you can give. Thank you !!!
