My Story

As part of Transition Year I am participating in the Mustard Seed Ireland Dare to Care Global Citizenship Programme. We are learning all about issues of Social Justice, Diversity and Sustainablility and looking at how the work of Mustard Seed Communities responds to these issues.Due to Covid-19 the children of Mustard Seed are relying on our support now more then ever. Thats why I've decided to take part in the Marathon for Mustard Seed Challenge. My Transition Year in St Raphaelas are fundraising for Mustard Seed by hiking from Marley Park to Three Rock on Thursday the 2nd of December. Due to an ongoing knee injury i am unable to take part in the hike but i hae decided to do my own challenge by doing a flat hike on Sunday the 6th of December. My challenge is the many wonders of Dublins docklands- an urban hike through city waterways. If i raise €250 that would pay for a child to attend the feeding programmme at nGozi Mine in Zimbabwe for a whole year!!!Thank you so much for your support.
