Hello there! Firstly, a bit about UCDVO - UCD Volunteers Overseas is a charitable organisation offering students, staff and alumni of University College Dublin the opportunity to contribute their time, energy and skills to development projects overseas. The charity was founded  in 2003 and projects have been taking place every year since then. Projects are currently run in India, Haiti, Nicaragua, Tanzania and Uganda where volunteers collaborate with local communities on small-scale development projects in response to local needs. In June 2018  I am volunteering as Team Leader for four weeks on the UCDVO education project in the rural village of Ruaha. The project is carried out with two other charitable organisiations, TanzEd and Camara. The team of volunteers will be providing English language classes as well as computer skills classes to teachers and students in three schools in the area.  Your donation will assist in purchasing computers/computer equipment, school books and other educational supplies, organising summer camps for children and also, funding classroom refurbishments that will ensure a safe learning environment for the teachers and students. Any donation no matter how big or small would be massivaly appreciated. Please share this page with anyone you think would be interested in contributing to this project. Thanks so much in advance for your support!
