Hello pals! As some of you may know, I have been lucky enough to be selected to travel for four weeks as a volunteer physiotherapist working in Kissizi, Uganda next summer. During my time there, I will work with other physiotherapy students. We hope to run a cerebral palsy camp, where we will provide treatment to children and education for their families on how best to manage the condition and maximise their quality of life.  We will also be helping out in the hospital on site where we can in the day to day runnings. Each volunteer is asked to raise €2600; €1200 goes directly toward the hospital for physiotherapy equipment and resources, to help improve facilities and the running of the cerebral palsy camp. The remaining €1400 is to cover our flights, accommodation, insurance, food etc..Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. It's a great cause which has proven to be a huge success over the past few years. Thanks in advance, Lorraine.
