Well lads, As some of you may know I have been lucky enough to be selected as one of 4 UCD physiotherapy students to spend 4 weeks volunteering in Ferrando Speech and Hearing Centre in Meghalaya, India next summer. While there, we will work on physiotherapy programmes and provide equipment for children with physical disabilities and their families, along with leading an outreach programme in the local community and taking part in disability awareness programmes. €1,400 of the funds raised goes directly towards the centre for the provision of equipment, development of facilities and implementation of community develpoment projects to make a sustainable difference.
