Hi! My name is Kolbie Brown, and I have had the opportunity of participating in the UCDVO Volunteering & Global Citizenship Programme, in which I am a part of a virtual placement at Assam Don Bosco University in Assam, India. UCDVO is a charity that provides UCD students, partners, staff, and alumni to engage in a year long volunteering and global citizenship programme for the help of disadvantaged communities overseas. My programme specifically is a part of community development partnering with Assam Don Bosco University in India. We will have completed fundraising, team building, and community education workshops before virtually volunteering this summer.
