In June 2017 I will be going to Ruaha in Tanzania on my first ever volunteer trip abroad! I will be away for an entire month with a group of 21 volunteers from UCD. The project includes computer education programmes for both teachers and children, classroom refurbishments, summer camps for children and the distribution of books and educational resources. In order to complete this project, I must raise my fundraising target and I will be forever grateful to those willing to donate. This is one of the most needed and worthy causes you can get involved in and every cent counts :) Past achievements include 600 computers being transported from Ireland to Tanzania, the set up of 17 computer labs in schools and the education of approximately 600 teachers.
