My Story
Hi Guys, So as many of you may or may not know I have been given the amazing opportunity to travel to South India this summer with UCD Volunteers Overseas to complete my final physiotherapy placement. As part of this project I will be travelling to the Ashajyothi Handicapped Welfare Society in Andrah Pradesh. This is a voluntary organisation which provides a home, education. development and rehabilitation to children with disabilities who may have been rejected by their family or come form underprivledged backgrounds. As part of the trip all volunteers are asked to fundraise 2650 euro. I will be covering all my own costs. However, with your help the money raised will hopefully provide these children with much needed equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs and prostheses and will help to provide education to the community and surrounding physiotherapists so that we leave sustainable long lasting changes once the project is over. Any donation possible would be much appreciated. Thank you so much for your support. Jenn x
