Hi everyone

My name is James Byrne and I'm in first year studying Computer Science in UCD.

I am fundraising to travel to Nicaragua next summer with UCD Volunteer Overseas (UCDVO). The project that I will be getting involved with projects in education and construction. UCDVO have been going to Nicaragua since 2007 and have done many projects including (Only a few listed here)

• health centres built in Santa Isabel and El Kairo
• Pre-school and Primary School built in Las Palmira
• Library developed and stocked in Los Quinchos
• 200 children engaged in arts and crafts, sports and education workshops 

I have to fundraise €2,600 if you would like to make a donation it will be greatly appreciated for any donations.

Voluntary organisation for UCD students, staff and graduates to engage in volunteering and global citizenship education programmes.
