Très chère famille et amis, 

J'ai l'immense joie de vous annoncer mon départ en juin prochain pour un projet humanitaire au Nicaragua d'une durée d'un mois ! Nous sommes une équipe de 22 étudiants de UCD (University College of Dublin) faisant partie de l'association UCD Volunteers Overseas.  Notre projet est basé sur trois thèmes principaux, qui sont, l'éducation , la construction et l'environnement. Nous avons énormément de chance d'avoir l'opportunité de vivre cette expérience incroyable, qui va tant nous apporter et sans aucun doute nous marquer pour toujours ! 

En effet, cette association étudiante défend les valeurs de l'humanité et de l'entraide depuis 2003 et envoie ses volontaires en mission dans différents endroits du monde, tel que l'Inde, la Tanzanie, Haiti, l'Uganda et le Nicaragua pour réaliser de magnifiques projets !

Afin de réaliser au mieux notre mission, nous allons suivre differentes formations et réaliser différentes activités, qui sont organisées par l'association, tout au long de l'année, avant le grand départ ! 

L'une des plus belles expériences du volontariat, qui a été dite lors de notre première formation, est que nous partons tous ensemble afin d'apporter notre aide mais qu'au final nous recevrons davantage ! 

Nous aurons également la chance de découvrir le Nicaragua et de profiter de ses superbes paysages, qui vont très certainement nous dépayser ;) (on est loin des côtes normandes et irlandaises qui sont tout aussi magnifiques of course)

Ainsi, grâce à cette cagnotte en ligne, je vous propose de participer à la réalisation de notre projet qui me tient (et nous tient tous) énormément à coeur ! Nous devons récolter 2600€ par personne, cela nous aiderait énormément ! ( 1400€  pour : les billets d'avion, où nous  allons résider sur place, les visas, l'assurance and les activités et entrainnement au cours de l'année / 1200€ pour : les coûts du projet comme : le materiel pour la construction d'une école et bâtiments ainsi que des fournitures diverses pour l'éducation pédagogique des enfants...etc)

Dear family and friends,

I am very excited to announce to you my departure for a humanitarian project in Nicaragua next June, for a month ! We are a team of 22 UCD (University College of Dublin) students from UCD Volunteers Overseas. Our project is based on three main themes, which are, Education, Construction and Environment. We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to live this incredible experience, which will bring us so much and definitely have a great impact on us forever !

This student society has defended the values of humanity and mutual aid since 2003 and sends its volunteers on missions abroad in differents parts of the world, such as India, Tanzania, Hiaiti, Uganda and Nicaragua in order to realize beautiful projects !

In order to carry out our missions to the best of our ability, we will follow different training and carry out various activities, which are organized by the society throughout the year before the big day !

One of the best experiences of volunteering, which was mentioned during our first training, is that we are going all together to help but at the end of the day we gain and learn more !

We will also have the chance to discover Nicaragua and enjoy its beautiful landscapes, which will most definitely take our breath away ;) (its very far away from the Norman and Irish coasts which are very beautiful as well of course !)

So, thanks to this online fundraising page, I invite you to participate in the realization of our project which is very close to my (and everyone's) heart ! We must raise 2600€ per person, this would helps us considerably ! (1400€ : flights, accommodation, visas, insurance, local transport and training and 1200€ : these funds are allocated to the costs of the project like : construction of school, houses, education resourses...etc)
