My Story
Hello! I'm running the Surrey half marathon in Guildford this weekend in aid of Guide Dogs for the blind in co. Limerick, Ireland. I've been lucky enough to see first hand the effect guide dogs can bring to peoples lives and help them re-gain their independence, and my reasoning for highlighting Limerick in particular is having family from the area, and family fundraising for the charity. Irish Guide Dogs for the blind is Ireland's national charity dedicated to helping persons who are blind or vision impared and families of children with autism to achieve improved mobility. Their vision is a future where persons who are blind, vision impaired and diabled achieve independence and dignity through world class dog and ancillary services. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, you can find out more about the charity at www.guidedogs.ie
