Hey guys,This year I have been given the opportunity  to go to Tamil Nadu in South India with  UCD Volunteers Overseas. This will be my second year volunteering with UCDVO. This year 9 volunteers including me  will be working in partnership with Nandri. Nandri is an Irish non-profit  based in Tamil Nadu. Their mission is to empower women from disadvantaged backgrounds and to support them through self help groups, micro finance and child education support. Over the four weeks we will be working with Indian university students in the local village to tackle problem in the communities.All money raised will be going directly to these villages. I will be funding the cost of flights, accommodation and food my self.Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
