Hi guys, As many of you already know I am so lucky to have been chosen to go on project with UCD Volunteers overseas this summer. I will be working in Morogoro for one month between June and July. This is a project very different to many you might have seen before as UCD VO place massive emphasis on putting in place structures that will last well beyond the time we leave. As part of this sustainable project I will be teaching computer skills to teachers and students in local schools so that they can use the same tools that we see in the classroom every day such as Word and PowerPoint. Half the money we raise is used to refurbish classrooms and computers that we will be shipping over with us. The other half will be used for flights and accomodation to make this project feasable however I will be funding the majority of this personally. Therfore all money raised here will go directly into changing the lives of many people, giving them new oportunites that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. Please make whatever donation you can to support not just me but many other tallented and dedicated volunteers.
