This year I am participating in the UCDVO Volunteer Programme, a component ofwhich is an approximately 4-week voluntary placement with Nurture Africa basedin Uganda.UCDVO is a registered charity that provides UCD students, staff and alumni with theopportunity to engage in a volunteer programme for the benefit of disadvantagedcommunities overseas, in response to needs explicitly identified by thosecommunities.
