Hello everyone! This year I will be volunteering for 4 weeks with UCD Volunteer Overseas in Nansana, Uganda, as part of the Nurture Africa Business Project. The aim of the project is to support Nurture Africa’s business & livelihoods programme by helping Parents and Guardians to start or develop an income-generating activity. The programme will work with small business owners to develop business strategy plans and provide financial assistance and advice. The funds will go directly to Nurture Africa’s ongoing livelihood and education programmes and will support the specific costs of the volunteering project such as transport, food and any resources required.
