My name is Cian Mellett and I am a part of the UCD Volunteering Overseas team. In June 2017 I will be heading to Ruaha in Tanzania. Through links with the Irish Embassy in Dar es Saalam, UCDVO established a partnership with a Tanzanian NGO called TanzEd and began it's first project in Tanzanua in 2009.  This year we will be working on computer and english education and also libaray development projects for 4 weeks. Each volunteer is required to raise €2600.The fundraising target is generally broken down into €1,400 for volunteer participation costs (flights, accomodation, training, local transport) and €1,200 for the costs of the project (eg. educational resources, physiotheraphy equiptment). This will be financed through fundraising events and personal finances.  Any donations at all no matter how small would be a big help and very much appreciated. Thanks!
