My Story
Nurture Africa is an Irish founded internationally registered Non-Governmental Organisation that works in Uganda with a targeted focus upon Healthcare, Education, Child Protection & Gender Equality and Economic Empowerment through business training and micro-finance projects. The Youth Centre was established in 2013 as a safe haven for children to interact, socialise and learn life-skills. The Vocational Training Centre-registered educational institute, providing free education to 140 students per year, offers the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification in courses such as Tailoring, Hair & Beauty, Catering or Carpentry. UCDVO project activities may include English language, ICT and other vocational educational classes with young Ugandan men and women. These opportunities can only be made available with your help. Please help us to reach a goal of €750 before the middle of May by donating to this fundraising page now. I will be committing to running 100km in the month of March (roughly 3km a day) to support this cause. I hope you will support me on this journey.
