Habitat for Humanity Ireland is a non-profit organisation dedicated to eliminating substandard housing worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscious action. Despite Zambia having one of the fastest growing economies, it remains one of the world's poorest countries. Currently, close to 64% of Zambians live on under $2 a day, and the majority of those who earn more barely make ends meet. I will be travelling to Zambia along with a group of 15 others from Paddy Power Betfair to build houses, providing help with a variety of tasks including mixing concrete, transporting bricks, construction, fittings and much more
