Hey guys,This year I've been given the opportunity to be a student leader as part of UCDVO’s new project in Tamil Nadu in South India. This will be my second year volunteering with UCDVO and I’m so excited to be a part of their new project!Me and a team of other UCD student volunteers will be spending a month there working in collaboration with Nandri, an Irish Non-profit based in Tamil Nadu. Their mission is to empower women from disadvantaged backgrounds and support them through self help groups, micro finance and child education support. Over the month we will be working closely with other Indian university students in local villages to tackle problems identified by the communities. I would appreciate any help to fundraise for this really worthwhile cause. All of the money raised through my altruism page will go directly towards the project. I will cover my personal travel/accommodation costs for the month myself.I would really appreciate your support and any donation you can offer, no matter how small!Thank you !Aoibhe  Xx
