My Story

So this year will be my third time going to Zambia with Habitat for Humanity, with  the last two trips being such huge successes that it is difficult to keep me away and I am very excited to go back to the most wonderful place where things are so simple and happy yet extremely difficult and soul wrenching. Zambia has enormous levels of poverty and illness with many thousands of children being orphans and not having a chance to live or even survive. I have seen first hand that the work that Habitat for Humanity do, by providing a simple structure that provides as a home for these children, that in years to come they have the chance to finish school, to go to college and become whatever they dream to be. They have a safe place to sleep and to store their belongings from the rain during the rainy seasons, they can lock the door and feel safe, they have a place to do their homework and with proper ventilation and space they can be healthy. They have a chance.  If you would like to support me in my efforts to make the world a better place for one family at a time, please donate and support as much as you can. All of the money donated will be going directly to Habitat for Humanity as I aim to cover the costs of the trip by myself.
