Hi everyone, my name is Allison and I am a 3rd year physiotherapy student in UCD. I have been given the amazing opportunity to do one of my physiotherapy placements volunteering in Nansana in Uganda next summer. The placement is organised through the charities UCDVO and Nurture Africa, and for this programme and I will be working  mostly with children and their parents who are HIV positive and have various disabilities, and I will be helping give them the treatment they need to improve their quality of life.To do this,  I have to raise a total of €2,600 to help fund getting out there and also for money to spend on various projects when I am over there, including improving the hospital facilities, funding physiotherapy equipment and providing a rehabilitation camp.Any donations would be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small they will make a huge difference to the community in Nansana.Thank you!
