My Story

Mustard Seed Ireland is a charity that was set up in 1978 in Kingston, Jamaica, as a home for a handful of abandoned children with disabilities. Today, Mustard Seed serve over 600 children and adults who belong to the most vulnerable groups of Jamaican society. The residents in the Jamaican homes include children and adults affected by HIV/AIDS and teen mothers and their babies. Mustard Seed Jamaica also manages a number of community outreach programs designed to fight poverty by providing employment, education and skills and training in the communities where Mustard Seed serve.I will be travelling as part of a group in October to Jamaica with Mustard Seed Ireland. The money I raise will go to the children and adults of Kingston Jamaica to help them have a better life as well as better facilities. When I go over I will be spending time with the teen mothers, helping build facilities and spend time supporting and teaching the kids. Please help me reach my goal of E2,700.    I would be grateful for any donation to help towards reaching my fundraising target and please share this page.
