We support Irish centres of excellence so that we can deliver world class research, improve patient care and deliver greater long term development of research infrastructure. The Breast Cancer Ireland Research Centre is located within the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and has 14 full time scientific, researchers and postgraduate medical students employed.

We have developed a Schools Awareness Programme to educate young women on the importance of breast health, aimed specifically toward Transition Year students.

Investment in countries first Intra-Operative Radiotherapy Device…instead of patient having to return to hospital for five weeks daily for radiotherapy – we can extend initial surgery time by 20 minutes, for certain cancer patients and they go home to recover.
