Hello Everyone!

My name is Stephen and I am a second year Commerce International student at University College Dublin, Ireland. 

This year I have the opportunity to volunteer with UCD Volunteers Overseas on the Nicaragua Project in the summer of 2017. It is a year-long commitment with a 4-week placement overseas to work on developmental projects.

UCDVO has been involved in Nicaragua since 2007 working on construction, education, and health care projects to meet the needs of the local communities.  We will work in the town of Somoto in collaboration with Instituto de Promoción Humana (INPRHU), Xomothl Association, and Movimiento Comunal Nicaragünese (MCN) on projects that the communities identify. 

Each volunteer has a personal fundraising goal of €2600 which goes directly to the project. No donation is too small and is greatly appreciated as it will make a tremendous difference.
