My Story
Having been made an offer I couldn’t refuse, on Saturday, 9 June 2018, I will dance in front of 500 people in Strictly for Africa at the Talbot Hotel in Stillorgan. For those of you unfamiliar with this event, it involves inflexible, uncoordinated, and generally unskilled individuals attempting dance moves that are best left to professionals. I am doing this to raise money for Self Help Africa in their work assisting farming communities access a better living. It is a simple format: help a household become food secure by smart farming and then assist with access to markets. Selling surplus produce provides an income, which in turn enables access to education and healthcare and breaks the cycle of poverty. I would really appreciate it if you would make a donation to help me reach my target. Thank you.
