My Story
Hey everyone, Orla here. I'm a 3rd year physiotherapy student in UCD.
This year I have been lucky enough to be chosen as part of a fabulous team of volunteers to travel to Nansana Health Centre in Uganda, where we will spend 4 weeks.
During this time, i'll be taking part in the physiotherapy part of the project, where we will be providing additional physiotherapy services to the NutureAfrica health centre and local patients.
Each volunteer is asked to raise €2,600 to participate in the UCDVO projects. These funds support the volunteer to carry out the above tasks for one month and also cover the costs of project resources such as a rehabilitation camp, physiotherapy equipment, prostheses, educational resources and refurbishment.
I'd really appreciate any donation that you are able to give, no matter how small. I assure you that every cent will be used to great effect on this years project.
