My Story
Last November we, as a group of seven individuals enrolled in the Inner Winner Institutes’ Self Discovery program which was a 12 day long journey in Zambia, Africa. While in Zambia, we connected to the Zambian people and the environment in a setting that filters out all of the thoughts and negative energies that are the norm in the western world. We grew as people whilst also discovering the importance of great leaders in society. Upon returning home from Zambia, inspired by the great people we encountered on our journey and our learned experience, we have created a movement - Soldiers for Humanity.Soldiers For Humanity is the next step for those who graduate from the Inner Winner Institute Self Discovery Program. It is our mission and passion to apply our newfound knowledge and leadership skills in a practical sense to help support vulnerable people and communities. As part of this movement, our first commitment is to raise a minimum of €50,000 for a children’s disability home in a town called Mongu (Zambia) before November 2017. The money we raise will go towards the running costs and expansion of this facility - providing a nutritional, medical, educational & surgical care plan for each of the 75 children. It is the only facility of its kind in western Zambia, serving an area 3 times the size of Ireland.
