Hi everyone! As some of you may know, I have been lucky enough to be chosen to volunteer as a physiotherapy student with UCDVO for four weeks next July in Kisiizi Hospital, Uganda.  During this time, I will work closely with four other physiotherapy students, student leaders and clinical tutors, as well as nutrition and dietetics students, to help enhance the quality of life for those in Kisiizi Hospital and in the surrounding community.  We will also facilitate a camp for children with cerebral palsy, providing treatment as well as education for long-term management to their families and care-givers.   Each volunteer is asked to raise 2,600euro to participate in the project - 1,200euro goes directly to the hospital to help with the provision of physiotherapy equipment and resources, to help create and improve facilities, as well as covering the cost of running the cerebral palsy  rehabilitation camp, which has been a huge success in previous years.   The remaining 1,400 will cover the cost of flights, accommodation, food, etc., which I will be funding myself.  I would greatly appreciate any donations, that would help in the provision of much needed equipment, resources, facilities and care for the people of Kisiizi Hospital, Uganda.  Thank you all very much!Jen
