My Story

Last September I moved to Dublin to start my first job after completing my PhD.  I am working as a scientist at University College Dublin where I found an amazing charity which has been doing an increadible job in different countries overseas over the last 15 years. Even before moving here, I already knew I wanted to be part of this big family and travel overseas to help in health care realted projects. Indeed, I am part of a group of UCD students and staff going to Nansana, Uganda in collaboration with the ONG Nurture Africa. We are travelling at the end of June, 2019 and we will be involved in different projects:1. Rehabilitation for children with disabilities. 2. Education programmes: health, nutrition and disability awareness workshops.3. Training and development programmes for local staff.4. Health centre development: audits and reporting.Every little help, will make our time in Nansana much more valuable. THANKS A MILLION
