On Wednesday night 6th September my beautiful Mum was found in her home after taking her own life. My Mum had a long history of depression, anxiety and addiction. She fought so hard over the years to beat it because she wanted more than anything to be with her family and live a normal life and be there for her children and her grandchildren. Heartbreakingly, her illness got the better of her and we have lost her far too soon. I pledge from this day forward I am going to do everything in my power to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention in the memory of my beautiful mum. Mum's funeral is taking place Tuesday morning 12th September and as we are only having flowers from her immediate family, I kindly ask that any donations to be made to the very worthy Pieta House.Clodagh x
