Hey everyone, This summer I will be travelling with UCD Volunteers Overseas for a month to Assam in North-east India. I will be taking part in a community development project there.   It will involve renovating government run health care centres for children and mothers as well as carrying out workshops for local adults and children based on needs identifed by the locals themselves. We will be working with the local community and social work students over there to raise awareness and help with problems in the area. UCDVO has been working with these projects for over 10 years and it has had a positive effect on people's lives. In order to go on this project I have to raise €2600. I will be funding €1400 of this myself as it will go to flights and accomodation. However, I need to raise €1200 which will go directly to the project for the benefit of this community.I would be extremely grateful for any donations whatever the size so I can take part in this amazing opportunity and at the same time you will be contributing to a great cause.
