My Story

This May, together with 20 other volunteers, I will walk the Camino de Santiago to raise funds for a cause close to my heart:  Arthritis Ireland. This will be my third year undertaking the Camino, which is challenging and rewarding in equal measure. Challenging, because sometimes when you have arthritis ( I am living with RA) your body does not want to move. The effort of putting one foot in front of the other to walk alot of miles can seem overwhelming. But this where the unique spirit of the Camino comes into its own, because you're not doing it on your own. The Arthritis Caminadors would lift anyone's spirits on even the toughest  of days. And- there is knowing that we are undertaking  this ancient walkway to benefit people living with arthritis. Arthritis Ireland needs your support to continue to provide vital services for people living with this chronc, debilitating disease. I need your support. so, please give what you can, by clicking the button below. Every donation is hugely appreciated. Thank you.
