The IRC’s priorities are:
Delivering high quality support and advice to people in the asylum process via our Drop-In Centre and Independent Law Centre, including access to Early Legal Advice;
Supporting and protecting children and young people going through the asylum process;
Supporting people's integration and transition out of Direct Provision through housing, education and employment projects;
Generating and maintaining public and political awareness on refugee issues and developments;
Partnership, advocacy and capacity building with key stakeholders to bring about positive change to asylum practice and policy in Ireland and Europe.

Projects in 2018
Transition work: Assisting people moving out of Direct Provision to access housing, training and employment
Resettlement work: Assisting people with their applications for Family Reunification to ensure families are reunited as soon as possible
Education Fund: Supporting people in the asylum process to access further education and training
